The Work
My work develops through a structured observation of space, focusing on architectural lines, natural geometry, and the quiet interplay between landscape and human presence.
While the subjects vary, each series is connected by recurring visual patterns: openness and enclosure, graphic stillness, and the balance between form and emptiness.
The subject may change.
The visual perspective remains constant.
Sweden & the Netherlands
The current body of work is rooted in Sweden and the Netherlands.
Two distinct landscapes defined by open water, dense forests, and historic built environments. Each offers a different light and scale, serving as a continuous source for graphic exploration.
These environments dictate the visual language, transforming physical space into minimalist fine art.
The Organic & the Constructed
A deliberate tension runs through the work. The natural silhouette of a forest canopy and the measured geometry of a steel viaduct or historic street exist within the same visual framework.
By reducing these elements to their core shapes and lines, their original function becomes secondary to their graphic rhythm and composition.
Space & Silence
Space is an active, structural element in my photography. Distance, shadow, and negative space carry as much graphic weight as the physical subjects themselves.
This focus creates a minimalist silence—capturing raw structures and architectural depth at their most serene and absolute moments.
The photograph defines the space.
The viewer observes the stillness.
From Moment to Print
Every image begins with precise observation. While some photographs remain close to the raw moment captured, others are meticulously refined to enhance their graphic impact, contrast, and structural composition.
The objective is never to alter reality, but to extract and emphasize the striking minimalism already embedded within the scene.
The work remains open.
Each image is a study in structure and perspective.
